Her birdhouses come in a variety of colours and designs, but what they all have in common is a cedar roof, as birds like cedar as it controls pests such as bird lice. There are also winter nesting houses which allow many birds to huddle together on perches to keep warm. Did you know that bats consume their weight in mosquitos and other pests each night? To encourage their nighttime eating and pollinating, Joan designs and builds bat houses for your yard and property. “As a gardener, I enjoy nature and I want to invite birds and bats into my garden. Great care is taken to create unique and functional items that allow you to encourage more nature in your garden and outdoor living spaces.”
